GrowthMentor is a Rails + Vue 3 + Inertia codebase built by professional developers over 7 years. I’m the founder. I’ve never written production code in my life. I picked up Claude Code, learned the codebase, and started submitting pull requests. Real features, not toy scripts. They passed code review. The dev team accepted them. I compressed 3 months of product roadmap into a single week. 750+ mentors, 30,000+ sessions, bootstrapped and profitable.
A freelancer hand-crafted Instagram strategies for clients. Took hours, cost thousands. I built a 10-agent pipeline that generates the same output in 2 minutes: 18 feed posts, 34 stories, 5 reels, 3 carousels, a 4-week calendar, all with ready-to-copy captions. Each brand gets its own color system extracted from their logo. The entire thing costs about $0.50 per run.
We had 3,200 transcripts of real mentorship sessions sitting in a database. Nobody had ever read them. I built a system that processes every conversation, extracts what people actually talk about, what they’re really struggling with, and what kind of mentor helped them most. Then uses all of that to match the next person to the right mentor. The data was always there. Someone just had to decide to listen to it.
I run a product marketer, content strategist, SEO specialist, and product designer as parallel AI agents. Each one gets the same brief and produces a report from their lens. The reports contradict each other. A synthesizer resolves the conflicts into a build plan. Twenty minutes of structured thinking before the writing starts. Every blog post on the GrowthMentor site goes through this process.
No framework, no build step, no CMS. One Express server, markdown files for blog posts, JSON files for photo galleries, server-rendered HTML. Deploys by pushing to main. The whole thing is one server.js file and a CSS file.
